San Joaquin Council of Governments
The State Route 99 Manteca 6-Lane Widening Project will widen State Route 99 from four lanes to six lanes in the median between State Route 120 (City of Manteca) and Arch Road (City of Stockton),a distance of 9.5 miles. The project includes widening the existing structures and upgrading the bridge rails at Lone Tree Creek, French Camp Slough and Little Johns Creek. Interchange improvements are planned at French Camp Road and Main Street.
Kjeldsen, Sinnock & Neudeck, Inc. (KSN) was retained by HDR Engineering, Inc. to provide the surveying, mapping and preliminary right-of-way engineering services for the entire 9.5 miles of this project during the Project Approval and Environmental Document (PA/ED) phase.
KSN’s scope of work included coordination with CalTrans on survey control and aerial mapping, preparing design level digital photogrammetric base mapping, design support ground surveys and existing utility research and mapping to identify any utility service providers that may be impacted by the project. KSN also provided the field surveys to search and recover existing monumentation based on San Joaquin County records research and prepare the preliminary right-of-way mapping along the project corridor.
