The Collection System Capital Improvement Program Sewer Line Replacement Project included the removal of approximately 200 linear feet of existing sanitary sewer line, including two parallel 8” and 10” diameter pipes and five manholes, and installing 18” sanitary sewer line along the existing pipe alignment. The project was located just upstream of the wastewater treatment plant, requiring bypass pumping for nearly all of the District’s influent flows for the duration of construction.
