Last month KSN employees participated in Habitat for Humanity’s inaugural Rock the Block event in South Oak Park. The work was part of an overall effort to bring together hundreds of volunteers over two days in October to perform various neighborhood beautification and repair projects at 14 different locations within the South Oak Park neighborhood. Principal Barry O’Regan, Project Engineer Steven Whittlesey, and Marketing Manager Andy Larson helped by building fences and painting houses for a variety of homeowners. The various neighborhood beautification and repair projects performed within the predetermined section of South Oak Park helped in mitigating health, accessibility and safety concerns in homes owned by low-income families and elderly residents within the community. A fun and productive Saturday was had by all!
