Phase 1B was the second phase of the expansion of the San Joaquin General Hospital and consisted of the design construction of a four-story, full service hospital facility with a gross floor area of approximately 250,000 square feet. The Phase 1B project included the construction of storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water services, grading, parking facilities, heliport, and circulation roads. The total Phase 1B project cost was approximately $60,000,000 of which approximately $2,000,000 were civil site improvements designed by Kjeldsen, Sinnock & Neudeck, Inc. working as a sub-consultant to the San Francisco office of the architectural firm of Stone, Marraccini and Patterson.
