The State Route 99 Eight Mile Road and Morada Lane Interchange Projects will provide improvements necessary to accommodate increasing traffic volumes due to planned development near the interchanges. For the Project Approval and Environmental Document (PA&ED) phase of this project Kjeldsen, Sinnock & Neudeck, Inc. (KSN) was retained by HDR Engineering, Inc. to provide the surveying, mapping and preliminary right-of-way engineering services. KSN’s scope of work includes coordination with CalTrans on survey control and aerial mapping, preparing design level digital photogrammetric base mapping, design support ground surveys and existing utility research and mapping to identify any utility service providers that may be impacted by the project. KSN will also provided the field surveys to search and recover existing monumentation based on San Joaquin County records research and prepared the preliminary right-of-way mapping along the project corridor.
